In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Given Thomas and Mary Juanita Lacy (Sanders); and her brother Ronald Lacy. She is survived by: her husband Freddie Hillis; her son Joseph Hillis; and her brother David Lacy.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Cemetery.
