Virginia Ann Phelps Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Ann Phelps of Williamsville, Missouri, born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, who passed away on April 11, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Erich Hemmerlein and Lois Virginia Hemmerlein (Bailey); and her husband James "Jim" Phelps. She is survived by : her stepchildren, Ellen Carter (Shayne) of Ellsinore, Kim Farris of Ellsinore, Rachel Coleman (Kenny) of Ellsinore and Rebekah McKinney (Fred) of West Plains; her brother Earnest Hemmerlein (Cathy) of Williamsville; her niece Lois Clinton (John) of Greenville; and her nephew Lee Hemmerlein (Shannon) of Williamsville. She is also survived by ten grandchildren: fourteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Cool Spring Baptist Church. A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Cool Springs Baptist Church. A committal service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Cool Springs Cemetery.
