He is survived by: his father Joe Wheat (Deloris); his wife Michelle Wheat (Essary); his brother Fred Wheat (Martha); his children, Tyler Wheat (Kaela) and Rhea Cook (Dewayne); and his grandchildren, Caleb Cook, Braylon Ebert, Kylie Wheat, Khloe Wheat and Case Wheat. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and nieces.
