He was predeceased by: his parents, Emory Kentch and Lula Kentch (Turner); and his brother Kenneth. He is survived by: his wife Glenna Ruth Kentch (Johnson); his children, Cheryl Kentch Fiedler of Farmington, CT and Keith Kentch of Topeka, KS.; his grandchildren, Gabrielle Kentch of Topeka, KS, Christian Kentch of Topeka, KS, Lindsay Fiedler of Farmington, CT. and Alexandra Fiedler of Farmington, CT.; his sister-in-law Claudene Freeman (Gerald); his nephew Matthew of Willow Springs; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Johnson of Williston, SC and Linda Baker (Charles) of McLouth, KS..

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials may be made in his name to the First Christian Church of Willow Springs.
