He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Thompson and Alice Thompson; his wife Gloria F. Thompson; his children, Scottie Thompson, Jr. and Cindy Griffith; and his grandchildren, Cinder Lea Lyke, Sam Cunningham and Denny Cunningham. He was also cherished by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
