He was predeceased by: his parents, Al Somody and Catherine Trombley Somody; his wife Barbara Shriver; and his daughter-in-law Diane Somody. He is survived by: his children, Michel Somody, Stacy Rhodes (Chance) and Deborah Black (Ken); his grandchildren, Kari Pereira (Terence), Kristi Felker (Brad), Kenneth Justin Black, Julianne Rau (Skye) and Kaitlyn Duddridge (Tye); and his brothers, Tim and Terry Somody. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
