She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas "Tom" Hood and Rosa Lee Hood (Smith); her husband Gene; her son-in-law Hershel Fornshell; and her siblings, Bobby Joe Hood and Joyce Stewart.
She is survived by: her daughters, Teleina Fornshell of Windsor, Regina Hix (Darrin) of Windsor and Velina Todd (Tommy) of Windsor; her grandchildren, Feleina Vansel (Joe), Felicia Melton (TJ), Jacob Hix, Jarrod Hix (Makenna), Lauren Collins (Chris), Aaron Garoutte (Natasha), Megan Privett (Steven) and Ciara Willis (Jimmy); her great grandchildren, Tre Melton, Kennedy Collins, Truman Collins, Lindyn Garoutte, Rosalina Privett, Lexi Melton, Lena Melton, Silas Hix, Lincoln Garoutte, William Willis and Samuel Hix; her siblings, Marilyn Helseth, Bill Hood (Georgina), Lincoln, Willa "Evelyn" Hood, Beverly Smith, Marshall, John Hood, Donnie Hood (Sherry) and Wanda Hood; and her sisters-in-law, Anna Martin (Butch), Carolyn Pearson (Steve) and Beverly Ekstrand. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces.
The family suggests contributions to Mercy in Action, a ministry helping children attend school in Africa (checks payable to Windsor Assembly) in care of the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor.
