He was predeceased by: his father John Harry Prevete; and his uncle Cabin Galloway. He is survived by: his mother Rita True Prevete (Galloway) of Windsor; his siblings, John D. "Jay" Prevete (Jennifer) and Kelly P. Lewis (Andrew); his nieces, Jaelyn Burford (Austin), Jenna Rhoades (Shawn), Jaeci McGowan (Jayme), Aubrey Davis (Will) and Avery Lewis; his great-nephews, Baylor and Ryder; his great-niece Wren; and his aunts and uncles, LaCeta, Ed Lenz, Ruth, Bill Deakin and Rosie Evans.
