He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Dameron and Florence Brown Dameron; and his sisters, Rosalie Kolster, Jane Kramer and Sharon Miller.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Turner (Baxter) of Sedalia and Kevin Dameron (Melodie) of Sweet Springs; his grandchildren, Reagan, Alex, Grace, Patrick, Laura and Jessica; his brother Mark Jenkins (Dena); and his nieces and nephews, Shawn and Cason. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hadley Funeral Home (405 E Benton St, Windsor, MO 65360). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Sedalia Seventh Day Adventist (29525 US-50, Sedalia, MO 65301). A burial was held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Laurel Oak Cemetery (501 Poplar Dr, Windsor, MO 65360).
The family suggests contributions to the Sagrada Scholarship Bible Camp or the Sedalia Seventh Day Adventist for the Pathfinders ministry.
