Ruby Parks Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruby Parks (Windsor, Missouri), born in Eldon, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 18, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Noble Warren and Ethel Pearl Upton (Downing); her husband Olin L. Parks; her siblings, Noble Wayne Upton, Rose Marie Shroyer and Hazel Lee Potts; her daughter-in-law Claudia Parks (Larry); and her grandsons, Andrew Herbert Parks and James Olin Parks.
She is survived by: her brothers, Donald W Upton (Nancy) and Samuel T Upton (Marlyn); and her sons, Olin L. Parks II (Lemira), Larry M. Parks, Michael G. Parks (Rosanne), Mark E. Parks (Lisa) and Kevin W. Parks (Nancy). She is also survived by ten grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the First Baptist Church (308 S Tebo St, Windsor, MO 65360).
The family suggests contributions to the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention (checks payable to International Mission Board).
