John Frank Henke Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Frank Henke Sr. of Winfield, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 14, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank A. Henke, and Margaret Bolte Henke, Sr.; his brother Frank Henke, Jr.; his brothers-in-law, Eddie Whitlock and Don Heitman; and his grandson Brett Andrew Pruitt.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Henke of Winfield; his children, John F. Henke, Jr. (Pam) of Elsberry, MO, David W. Henke (Lisa) of Moscow Mills, MO, Gerald Henke of Winfield, Paula Henke of Winfield and Rita Barber (Brent) of Old Monroe; his grandchildren, Ave L. Henke, Liam J. Henke, Ellie M. Johnson and Etley Barber; his siblings, Rita Kaimann (William) of Old Monroe, Beatrice "Betty" Whitlock of O'Fallon, MO, Alice Hoeltge (Tom) of Troy, MO, Teresa Keeteman (Neal) of Old Monroe, David Henke (Debbie) of Moscow Mills and Margaret Hoeltge (Gary) of O'Fallon; his sister-in-law Monica Henke of O'Fallon; and his stepbrothers, Dennis Wehmeier (Terri) of Troy, David Wehmeier (Sharon) of St. Peters, MO and Henry Wehmeier (Peggy) of O'Fallon.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Carter - Ricks Funeral Home (3838 East Highway 47, Winfield, MO 63389). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (110 Maryknoll Rd, Old Monroe, MO 63369).
