She was predeceased by: her parents, Emerson Rossell and Beulah Rossell; her husband Dennis Simpson; and her grandson Alex Simpson. She is survived by: her son Greg Simpson; and her grandchildren, Keira and Celena. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
