It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ora Aten of Winston, Missouri, who passed away on February 20, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Hiram Aten and Pearl Aten (Marner); his wife Vivian Bel; his children, Georgia (David Baraks), Jeffrey (Patty Aten), Bill (Grace Aten), Don (Carolyn Aten), Jennifer Hanley of Kernville and Marian (Patrick Collison); his grandchildren, Jana Baraks, Jyll (Matt Moore), Quinn (Lindsay Hanley), Erin Hanley, Brice Hanley, Michael (Samantha Collison), Jessi (Dustin Cassler), Matthew Collison, Derek Aten, Darci Aten, Shayla Aten, Kiki Aten, Ian Aten, Kevin (Jennifer Aten) and Alivia (Dean Grace); and his son-in-law John Hanley. He was also cherished by 24 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 26th 2021 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the Trimble Funeral Home & Crematory (701 12th St, Moline, IL 61265). A graveside service was held on Friday, February 26th 2021 at 11:30 AM at the Rock Island National Cemetery (1600 River Dr, Moline, IL 61265). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 26th 2021 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Trimble Funeral Home & Crematory (701 12th St, Moline, IL 61265).
