He was predeceased by: his parents, A. V. Ash and Margaret Irene Ash (Potter); his siblings, Lana Kay Woodward, Larry Dean Ash and Garry Gene Ash; his nephews, Phillip Pratt Jr. and Ronald Ash; and his great-nephew David O'Brien.
He is survived by: his significant other Roger Allan Neill; and his sisters, Patricia Ash Harbit (Larry), Ava Sue Dick and Marlyn Ash Potter (Roger). He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews and several great niece and great nephews and numerous cousins.
