He was predeceased by : his children, David Schneider, Gail Carpenter and Alan Schneider; and his brothers, George, Henry, Larry, Andrew, Norbert, Joseph and Paul Schneider.

He is survived by : his wife Frieda; and his children, Dennis Schneider (Marie), Bev Fetterolf (Larry), Mark Schneider (Terri), Rich Schneider (Donna) and Lisa Schneider. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren; loving uncle and friend.
