Though George may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those George touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Darrell Swan and Trina Glass; and his brother Darrell Lee Swan. He is survived by: his son Michael Blakely; his sisters, April Campbell (David) and Cindy Cygan; and his nieces and nephews, Tina Day (Dustin), Amanda Moeller (Mitch), Patrick Gerdeman Jr. and Steve Sass.
Family is asking that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent in honor of George Blakely to the American Heart Association.
