He was predeceased by: his son John "Spanky" Spangler, Jr.; and his grandson Anthony Charles Spangler. He is survived by: his son Daniel Thomas Spangler of Wright City; and his granddaughter Heather Nicole Spangler of Columbia.
Visitation was held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory (1304 Boone St, Troy, MO 63379). A memorial service was held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
