We are sad to announce that on August 4, 2023, at the age of 86, Nefra K. Houston of Wright City, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Abu Kahin and Maketa Kahin; her husband Jerry Houston; her son Jerry Houston, Jr.; her siblings, Khufu Kahin and Fathihah Kahin; and her foster daughter Brenda Houston.

She is survived by : her grandchildren, Amy Wallace, Richard "Alex" Wallace, Nicholas E. Houston and Jasmine Houston; and her sister Mutemah K. Gregory.

Memorial donations are appreciated to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in honor of Nefra c/o Marin Funeral Home, 510 East Main St., Warrenton, MO 63383.
