He was predeceased by : his parents, August Niemann and Lorena Niemann (Bertha); his children, Roland Niemann, Jr., Kenny Niemann, Billy Niemann and Dianna Niemann-Harris; his brother Harold Niemann; his grandson Trevor Davis; and his stepson Jimmy Beauchamp.

He is survived by : his significant other Bertha Singer; his daughter Debby Birger (Bernard) of Collinsville, IL; his daughter-in-law Cathy Niemann of Wright City; his grandchildren, Kelly Colbert (Jen Vandiver) of Troy, Tyler Harris of St. Louis, Torrey Niemann (Jenny) of Wright City, Luke Zuhone (Ashley) of Wright City, Keith Niemann (Tara) of Wright City, Zack Niemann (Katie) of Warrenton and Salena Niemann of Phoenix, AZ; his stepchildren, Becky Clemens (Chris) of Texas, Dan Beauchamp (Diane) of O'Fallon and Bill Beauchamp (Alana) of Troy; and his stepdaughter-in-law Stacie Beauchamp. He is also survived by 12 step-grandchildren and 9 step-great-grandchildren, family members, nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers-in-law, cousins, friends.
