He was predeceased by: his mother Verna Elaine Downs (Bedenbender). He is survived by: his children, Jonathan R. Downs, Joseph R. Downs and Sarah M. Downs (Cole Ingrassia); his father Norman Lee Downs; and his siblings, Gordon Downs (Pam), Cindy Robinson (Tim), Dwight Downs (Joni) and Stewart Downs (Connie). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hawk Point City Cemetery (205 HWY A Hawk Point, MO 63349). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Redeemer Church (181 Davis Rd, Troy, MO 63379).
