It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Velma Mae Bote of Wright City, Missouri, born in Jonesburg, Missouri, who passed away on September 29, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Edgar S. Skinner and Edna Mae Millikan; her son Robert M. Bote (Bob); her husband Robert Bote; her grandson Byron Hunn; her son-in-law Wayne Sitton; and her siblings, B. W. Skinner (Anna) and Mary Jane Sick (Walter).

She is survived by : her daughters, Betty L. Eppard (Jerry) and Mary Sue Sitton; her grandchildren, Francis Scott Hunn (Theresa), Dusty Eppard (Christy), Shelly Bote Hayden (Michael), Robert W. Bote (Jody) and Shannon Johnson (Brian); her great grandchildren, Brittany Westermier (Andrew), Ethan Hunn, Ryan Hunn, Andy Eppard, Jimmy Milliner, Cole, Dean and Wade Bote; and her great great grandchildren, Katlyn, Caleb and Daniel.
