With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Benny Goodman of Abbeville, Mississippi, born in Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on November 28, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Milburn Louis Goodman and Mary Emojean Miller Goodman; and his siblings, Mary Jo Addington, Jane Peeples, Melba Williams and Timmy Goodman.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Phyllis Goodman of Abbeville, MS; and his children, Amanda Hudson (Brian) of Oxford, MS, Jessie Goodman (Kathy) of Oxford and Robert Goodman (Carol) of Memphis. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
