She was predeceased by: her father Raymond Arthur Hughes; and her brothers, Raymond Arthur Hughes Jr. and Lee Hughes. She is survived by: her mother Frankye Jenkins Hughes of Abbeville; her children, Ame Owens of Port Angeles, Washington, Timothy Owens of Umatilla and Nicholas Owens; her sister Janice Salazar; and her friend Tonya Greer of Abbeville, Mississippi.. She is also survived by her family, friends.
A memorial service was held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the First Baptist Church of Abbeville (15 E Long St, Abbeville, MS 38601).
