He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Delain and Volene Gillespie. He is survived by: his wife Fay Gillespie; his children, Melissa Anderson (Will Cooper) of Columbus, MS and Larry II; his grandchildren, Hunter Anderson, Tyler Anderson, Taylor Busby (Jacob), Claire Gillespie and Robert May; and his brothers, Tommy Gillespie (Debbie) of Randolph, MS and Barry Gillespie. He is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Coleman Funeral Home of Oxford (601 Commerce Pkwy, Oxford, MS 38655). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
