He is survived by: his children, Mabeline Crockette of Abbeville, MS, Vester Buford (James) of Abbeville, MS, Truly Dennis of Abbeville, MS, Richard L. Dennis (Nekeshu) of Abbeville, MS and Lonzo E. Dennis of Oxford, MS; his sister Maggie Ivy; and his in-laws, Zannie Mayes of Abbeville, MS, James Sykes of Abbeville, MS, Mary Reed of Abbeville, MS and Sandra Dennis of Oxford, MS. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.
