He was predeceased by: his parents, Forthman Murff and Gladys Danner Murff; his brother Ed Murff; his brother-in-law Harold Tate; his granddaughter Hannah Rose Guin; and his stepgrandson Philip Linley.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred Murff of Mildred's Restaurant; his daughters, Melissa "Missy" Luna (Tim) and Marie Guin (Tony); his stepchildren, Sandra Linley Hamilton (Randie), Tony Linley (Robbie) and Mark Linley (Kathy); his siblings, Rheda Murff Tate of Warrior, AL and Charles Murff (Mary) of Detroit, AL; his grandchildren, Dylan Evans, Alex Luna and Cassidy Guin; his stepgrandchildren, Brad Linley, Kayla Hamilton Harville (P. J.), Kody Hamilton, Kelly Linley and Karry Linley; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Sage Linley, Joseph Harville, Olivia Harper, Riley Kate Hamilton, Madi Harville and Mabry Hamilton.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home (100 W Washington St, Aberdeen, MS 39730). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Lann Memorial (100 W Washington St, Aberdeen, MS 39730).
