He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert Moody and Bessie Lorantz Moody; and his wife Hester Lee Moody. He is survived by : his son Mark Yagar (Melissa) of Aberdeen; and his sister Dorothy Ford (Hershel) of Brandon, MS. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

“My sincere condolences to your family. Years ago I owned The Copy Shop of Aberdeen and Jim was a favorite customer. As a court reporter his jobs were large (good for a new business owner) and he was always so cheerful to have in the shop. He taught me some things that were valuable and I have warm memories of our visits. May your quiet times be filled with lots of sweet memories. Sincerely, LuEllen Childress”
