John Finn Obituary

The memory of John Finn of Aberdeen, Mississippi, who passed away on May 29, 2025 at the age of 85, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Finn and Lily Elizabeth Finn; and his sister Mary Teresa Heaney (Robert Heaney). He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Phillips; his daughters, Rose Marie Suchanick (David) of Nashville, TN and Mary Elizabeth Koehn (Eric) of Amory; his brother Leo Finn (Sandra) of Cullman, AL; his grandchildren, Katie Suchanick (Austin Rappè), Brendan Koehn (Allie), Cameron Koehn (CamiBeth) and Landon Koehn; and his close friends, Kenny Tisdale, Lee Cooper, Lee Cadden, Bob Seymour, Tom Seymer, Jeff Fair, Coy Flynn, Frank Bender and Leroy Baggett. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home (100 W Washington St, Aberdeen, MS 39730). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi (104 S James St, Aberdeen, MS 39730). A burial will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at the Oddfellows Rest Cemetery.
