The memory of Ray Underwood (Aberdeen, Mississippi), who passed away on August 29, 2025 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the vast expanse of eternity, Ray shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Ray farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace Truman McCullough and Stillman "Lawrence" Underwood, Sr.; his wife Hilda Gaye Springer Underwood; and his brothers, Bobby, Richard and S. L.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
