She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Swearengin and Wilma Williams Swearingen; her husband Oscar Nelson; her son Dennis Dungan; and her siblings, Gene Swearengin and Dorothy McKay.
She is survived by: her children, David Dungan (Nina) of Milton, FL and Greta Baker (Keith); her grandchildren, Jed, Ryan and Rachel; and her great grandchildren, Phebe, Oliver, Kristie, Brinnly, Cameron, William and Henry.
