She is survived by: her children, Penny Taylor (Ivan), Hamilton, Beth Shields, Crystal Barnes Gazaway (Anthony) and Robbie Ross (Tina); her siblings, Patricia Jefferson Ray (Kenny), Tyrone Jefferson (Deborah) and Eddie Ruth (Missy) of Greensboro, NC; her grandchildren, Jay'Cob Barden, Justin Taylor, Austin Taylor, Branson Shields, Kameron Shields, Kealy Shields, Ethan Gazaway, Zane Shields, Kaleb Ross, Kayleigh Ross, Aubrey Ross and Hattie Gazaway; her great grandchildren, Cody McCallum, Imma Barden, Eli Zimmerman, Lonni Barden and Gray Barden; her friend Lacee Marich; and her pet Lucy. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
