She was predeceased by: her parents, William Dow Hairston, Sr. and Annie Rachel Miller Hairston; her husband Herman Felon Cooper, Sr.; her son Herman Felon Cooper, Jr.; and her siblings, William Dow Hairston Jr. (Marlene), Mabel Ruth Cole, Bobby Edward Hairston (Thelma), Francis Marie Guyton (Gene), Ira Kemp Hairston Sr. (Mary Allene) and Wayne Allen Hairston.
She is survived by: her daughter Chris Cooper Boykin (Bill) of Ackerman, MS; her grandchildren, Tina Eddins Gaspard of Mathis, Niki Pea (Matt) of Ackerman and Cody Cooper of Holcomb, MS; and her great grandchildren, Bayli, Austin, Colby, Brandt, Broden, Olivia, Sophia, Brandon and Emma Claire.
