He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Kennedy and Pearline Kennedy; and his siblings, Robert Carr and Bobbie Jean Kennedy. He is survived by: his wife Annie M. Kennedy; and his children, Dwight Robinson (Tersia), Rena Bush (Robert), Tomecia Turnipseed (Leroy) and Elroy Kennedy. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 26 great grands; nieces, nephews, in-laws.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Beck Funeral Home-Weir (4860 MS-12, Weir, MS 39772). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Choctaw County Community Center (895 College St, Ackerman, MS 39735). A burial was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at the Robinson Chapel Cemetery.
