We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2024, at the age of 78, Bobby Joe Towery (Amory, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Cluster Vertis "Mug" and Pearlie Mae Johnson Towery; his daughter Kimberly Murray; and his siblings, R. C., W. C. Towery and Mildred Bridges.

He is survived by : his wife Mavis Towery; his sons, Bobby Keith Towery (Lisa) of Smithville and Bruce Benton (Lori) of Smithville; and his sister Bernice Lloyd of Amory. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
