Cody Taylor Obituary

Cody Ryan Taylor, 20, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 in Itawamba County. He was born on September 5, 2002 in Tupelo and was the son of Ronald J. Taylor and Rebecca Jones Gray. Cody grew up in Smithville, attended Smithville schools and he was married to Madison Crisp. Cody loved to fish and hunt, play video games, or just ride the back roads with his friends. Always up for a good time, Cody's infectious personality could bring a smile to anyone's face.

Funeral services for Cody will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home with Buzz Abney officiating. Burial will follow in the New Hope Cemetery.

Cody is survived by his wife Madison Taylor of Fulton; his mother, Becky Gray (Stewart) of Greenwood Springs; his father, Ronald Taylor (Frances) of Smithville; two daughters, Paisley and Sunnie Taylor; three sisters, Kayla Taylor (Craig) of Fulton, Kayla Jones (Josh) of Greenwood Springs, and Jennie Lynn Taylor of Amory; numerous cousins; and best friend, Dalton McDonald.

Pallbearers will be Dalton McDonald, Taylor Williams, Marty Klasen, Kendall Thompson, Landon McMillen, Dalton McMillen, Braxton Harlow, and Blake Williams.

Visitation will be on Saturday from noon until the service time.
