He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Mitchem; his sons, Robert Mitchem, Chris Mitchem and Kenneth Mitchem; his siblings, David Mitchem (Julia), Edith McQuillan, Barbara Lewis, Mary Gorbutt, Debbie Davis, Cathy Krausa and Sarah Mitchem; his grandchildren, Auston Ballard (Meagan) and Kimberly Bagwell; and his great grandchild Lizzie Ballard. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
