She was predeceased by: her parents, Clint Carlton Varnon and Mila Ree Bowman Varnon; her husband Merle Presley; her sister Martha Linley; and her daughters, Julia Carole Hall, Susan O'Neill Tubb and Nancy Lee Foster.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Larry Tubb; her sister Kathy Epling (Jeff); and her grandchildren, Lana Glasgow (Adam), Larry Tubb II (Kristy) of Madison, MS, Walter Foster (JoAnne) and Charles Foster (Sherri). She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, church family and special friends.
Memorials may be given in Frances's memory to the Gideon's International.
