Hope left this world on November 29, 2025 at the age of 61, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Guthrie Hunter and Elizabeth Hunter (Libby) of Mantee, MS.. She is survived by: her husband Col. David Lee; her children, Dr. Mark Lee (Amanda), Wade Lee (Elva), Ricky Simmons and Julia Lee; her grandchildren, Jace, Jett, Jack, Johnny Lee and Eleanor Lee (Ella Dís); her sisters, Linda Stevens and Becky Johnson; and her daughter Abigail Ruth Lee (Abby). She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
Memorials will go to support causes that Hope was passionate about such as the Becker Baptist Church Awana Club Ministry, Friend of God Recovery or Abandoned Animal Rescue Sanctuary.
