It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thera Comer (Amory, Mississippi), who passed away on May 17, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Holloway and Clara Carter Holloway; her husband Frank Comer; her siblings, Harold Holloway and Helen Moore; her brother-in-law L. C. Moore; and her daughter-in-law Elouise Comer.
She is survived by: her children, John Comer (Vickie), Ronnie Comer (Deb) of Conway, AR and Ann Goodwin (Phil); her grandchildren, Rebekah Kimble (Scott), Mary Comer Walters, Leigh Anne MacKenzie (Josh), Jana Comer, John Ross Comer (Stella), Philip Goodwin (Anna) and Mollie Burgess (Elliott); her great grandchildren, Colton Sumner, Makalah Sumner, AnnaLynn Walters, Aubrey MacKenzie, Annsleigh Mackenzie, John Comer, Luke Comer, George Comer and Mari Adalyn Goodwin; her sister-in-law Pat Holloway; her close friend Sharon Pickle; and her caregiver Gilmore. She is also survived by niece and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Smithville Methodist Church or to Pine Vale Children's Home, Corinth, MS.
