With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Elizabeth Pesce Parks of Arkabutla, Mississippi, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Elizabeth left this world on October 6, 2025 at the age of 95, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though Elizabeth may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Elizabeth touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Pesce and Josephine Pesce; her son Donnie Long; and her sisters, Frances Garavelli, Mary Pesce and Rose Marie Pesce.
She is survived by: her children, Gloria Gifford (Joe), Russel Wolfe, Larry Long (Fawn), Perry Long and Jim Parks, Jr.. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hopewell Cemetery.
