She was predeceased by: her parents, W. A. Gentry and Thelma Gentry; her husband W. G.; her children, Dee King and Walter "Bub" Brown; her sons-in-law, Terry Atkins and Moe King; and her siblings, Hilman Gentry (Junie), Lewis Gentry (Eleanor), Dub Gentry (Bea), Malcom Gentry (Thel), Merrill Gentry (Ava), Gerald Gentry (Jewel), Nuna Bell (Jake), Pat Hust, Doris Bias (Jesse) and Maybelle Taylor (Dan).
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Bunny Atkins and Dee King; her daughter Bunny Atkins; her grandchildren, Addie Talley, Anna Atkins, Mollie King, Katie Shappley (Cody) and Walter King; her great grandchildren, Gabe, Emma, Wallace, Willow, Nathan, Sunnie Kate, Lucas, Cade and Kendall; her siblings, Peggy Phillips (late Jimmy), Bille (George Gerhart), Noland and Micky Gentry (late Brenda); her sister-in-law Mavis Brown (late Gene); and her family, Mark Bolin, Wes Gibson, Gerry Gentry, John Thompson, George Gerhart, Teleah Carter, Dr. Brett Brown, Dr. Barry Bertolet and Dr. James Woodard.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Crawford Methodist Church. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
