As David Ray departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved David Ray. Though David Ray may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donnie Allen of Falkner and Dorris Allen; his son David Ray Allen Jr.; his wife Jackie; his sister Kristy Bennett (Charles) of Falkner; his grandparents, Jackson and Shirley Jackson; his great-nephew Tucker Mercer; and his grandparents, Frank and Hildred Turbeville. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews, as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM and on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 11:00 PM to 12:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeal Home Email.
