She was predeceased by: her parents, William Wade James and Effie Viola Fiveash James; her husband Thomas Lafaye Weatherly; and her brothers, Ray James and Clyde James.

She is survived by: her children, Sandra Gresham (Glenn) of Ashland, MS, Patricia Campbell (Dennis) of Ashland, MS and Tony Weatherly (Vickie) of Ripley, MS; her brother Eugene James of Byhalia, MS; and her grandchildren, Dana Moffitt (Brian) of Ripley, MS, Heather Robertson (Shawn) of Ashland, MS, Jonathan Weatherly of Falkner, MS, Tiffany Ward (Paul) of Ripley, MS and Jade Campbell of Oxford, MS. She is also survived by fourteen great-granchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
