He was predeceased by: his father-in-law Ulmer "Red" Stevens; his mother Peggy Joyce Thornton; and his brother Randy Thornton. He is survived by: his wife Amy Thornton; his children, Hannah Cherepanya (Brandon), Courtney Clarke (Johnny) and Katie Gough (Brent); his grandchildren, Paisley Cherepanya, Dylan Clay, Jacob Clarke, Spencer Clarke, Van Gough, Lennox Gough and Sawyer Gough; and his father James T. Thornton. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
