It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lyda Oden Powe of Bailey, Mississippi, who passed away at the age of 84, on January 7, 2024. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Thad Oden (Eugene Thaddeus) and Mona Mae Keeton Oden; and her grandparents, J. S. "Sam", Maggie Oden, William Thomas and Ola Grantham Keeton.

She is survived by : her son George L. "Sonny" Powe, III (Melanie Dawn); her sister Ora Lee "Shine" Pogue (Gerald); her niece Jamie Ainsworth (Tommy); and her grandsons, Eli Garvin and Travis Ainsworth.

The Powe family suggests memorials be made as donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to Blair E. Batson Children's Hospital in lieu of flowers.
