With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Franklin Hughes of Bailey, Mississippi, who passed away on September 29, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Hughes and Annie Hughes; his wife Gloria Talbert Hughes; his grandson Frost McCoy; and his son-in-law Don McKee.

He is survived by : his daughters, Robbie H. McKee of Bailey, Judy H. Rutledge (Kenneth) of Bailey and Angie H. McCoy (Jason) of Columbus, MS.; his grandchildren, David Mckee (Jennifer), Brad Mckee, Keely R. Followay (Jamie), Kirby R. Simmons (Brandon) and Myles McCoy; and his great grandchildren, Emmalee, Kennedy McKee, Lexy, Lakyn Followay and Paxton Simmons.

The family suggests memorial contributions are shared with a charity of donors' choice.
