She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Adams and Bertie Ricks Adams; her husband Ellis Horton Johnson; her daughter Teresa; and her stepfather William Fair.
She is survived by: her children, Ellen Johnson of Guntown, Steve Johnson (Becky) and John Johnson (Amy); her siblings, Nadine Johnson of Wheeler, Kathy Lindsey, Pete of Wheeler, Becky Lewellen of Thrasher, David Fair of Memphis, Carl Fair, Susan of Wheeler and Roy Fair of Wheeler; and her grandchildren, Jonathan Johnson (Tosha), Brad Johnson (Erin), Davie Johnson (Meagan), Mark Thomas (Amy) and Eli Johnson. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Waters Funeral Home (309 N 2nd St, Baldwyn, MS 38824). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
