It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwen Chaffin of Baldwyn, Mississippi, who passed away on February 3, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Buster Hisaw and Florence Morgan Hisaw; her husband Bill Chaffin; her children, Glen Pounds, Little John Chaffin, Lewis Paul Chaffin and Teresa Chaffin Herberling; her brothers, William Hisaw, Tommy Hisaw, Eugene Hisaw and Raymond Earl Hisaw; and her grandchildren, Mikki Chaffin Mayo, Holly DeVaughn and Chesley Tapp.
She is survived by : her children, Pam Estes (Kenneth), Judy Frasier, Calente Tapp (Michael), Sherry DeVaughn (Teddy), Rance Pounds (Judy) and Garner Chaffin (Teresa); her sister-in-law Ann Hisaw; and her daughter-in-law Janet Pounds. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
