He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Thomas and Virginia Thomas; his brothers, Jeff Thomas and Joe Thomas; and his grandson Jack Riley Bullard.

He is survived by : his wife Sylvia Bragg Thomas; his daughters, Julie Clark (Cary) of Booneville and Jayla Bullard (Brad) of Baldwyn; his brothers, Jim Thomas (Audrey) of Saltillo and Jon Thomas of Jumpertown; his grandchildren, Jacie Stowers, Destiny Bullard, Case Clark, Asher Bullard, Jaxx Clark and Haze Clark; and his great grandchild Atlas Stowers.
