He is survived by: his wife Janice Downs of Booneville; his children, David Downs (Lisa) of Olive Branch and Michelle Edge (Greg) of Booneville; his sister Brenda Whiteside of Indiana; his grandchildren, Krischelle Tharp (Michael), Jake Downs (Lexie) and Spencer Downs (Eliyah); and his great grandchildren, Braxton Edge and Octavia Tharp.
